Manually Configure GPRS Settings on all Indian Networks

GPRS-SettingsPretty much every phones needs to be configured with correct GPRS Settings to be able to utilize the internet data plans. Well few networks automatically get configured according to your device like I am using iPhone 5 and I do not need to configure or add any kind of GPRS Settings to be able to use internet on my device, but earlier I was using Sony Ericson P990i & I need to configure correct settings on that device to be able to browse internet easily.

So if you are using any of those older device's or any device that needs correct settings to be pumped in then I have gathered a list of settings that might help you in getting your GPRS Settings working.

GPRS Settings from Operator for Indian Network

Well the first easy way to try is by getting all settings automatically in once package file right from your network operator, so you send them a message asking them to deliver settings right in your INBOX and as soon as you click on that message you get an option to Install all those settings and that works pretty well.

Well before using this methods make sure your Internet has been activated and check your internet balance, now just send below messages according to your operator.
  • Airtel - compose message type MO and send it to 543210
  • Docomo - compose message type INTERNET and send it to 52270
  • Aircel - compose message type PI and send it to 121
  • Reliance (GSM) - compose message type ALL and send it to 55100
  • BSNL - compose message type GPRS and send it to 53733
  • Uninor - compose message type ALL and send it to 58355
  • Idea - compose message type SET and send it to 54671
